The Northrop Grumman E-2 Hawkeye is an all-weather, carrier-based, airborne early warning system designed to detect and track targets at long range. The E-2 provides the U.S. Navy and other nations with a panoramic view of the surrounding environment, allowing it to detect hostile aircraft, ships, submarines, and land vehicles at long ranges.
